The airline Vueling has launched a new service through GIS, a company that offers preferential services for airports and airlines, to give individual access to VIP lounge in 40 of the most important airports in Europe during the purchasing process, with prices starting from 25 euros, regardless of the rate at which they travel.
Delta Air Lines will resume on May 27th its seasonal flight between Barcelona and Atlanta which will operate daily during the summer with an Airbus A330-300 with 292 seats, as has reported the company in a statement this Monday.
The low-cost airline Vueling has announced the opening in May of a new base of operations at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport, where it will operate with an A320 Aircraft, with capacity for 180 passengers.
Air Europa will begin operating its direct flights to Colombia on June 26th of the next year, as has announced during this week in Bogota the president of Globalia Group, Juan Jose Hidalgo, under the Hispano-Colombian Business Meeting. The premiere will route Madrid-Bogota.
From next year, all customers who purchase a Vueling ticket will automatically receive a boarding pass, so that the airline will remove the check-in process in airports and will only keep for special cases.
UGT, CCOO and SFF-CGT unions have called for further strikes in Spain on the 25th September and on the 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd October 2015. The strike will take place on the dates above lasting 2-hours intervals from 0:00 to 02:00, 13:00 to 15:00 and 20:00 to 22:00. The airline Air Canada has increased its capacity and frequency between the airports of Madrid, Barcelona and Canada, as has declared the company in a statement.
The Canadian airline announced that it will take over its seasonal flights from Barcelona from March 26th, 2016. As it was reported previously, the airline has expanded its operations during this season until January 6th, 2016.
Air Europa will join Madrid and Asuncion, capital of Paraguay, with two weekly frequencies from next December 16th.
The new route will be operated twice a week, departing from Madrid on Wednesdays and Sundays and from Asuncion on Thursdays and Mondays. For the new connection, Air Europa has scheduled an Airbus 330-200 with a capacity of 299 seats, 24 on Business class.
